Hoya Black Margin is a beautiful vining houseplant known for its thick green leaves outlined with darker edges, giving the foliage a bold, clean look. As it matures, this hoya can trail or climb, making it a great choice for hanging baskets, shelves, trellises, and bright indoor plant displays.

Also called Hoya parasitica ‘Black Margin’ or sometimes listed under Hoya verticillata ‘Black Margin’, this variety is loved by collectors for its glossy foliage, easy-growing nature, and potential to produce clusters of fragrant hoya flowers when mature and grown in the right conditions.

Care Instructions:

Light: Bright, indirect light is best. It can handle some gentle morning sun, but avoid harsh afternoon sun.

Water: Let the soil dry mostly between waterings. Hoyas do not like sitting in wet soil.

Soil: Use a chunky, well-draining mix with orchid bark, perlite, or coco chips.

Humidity: Average household humidity is usually fine, but higher humidity can encourage stronger growth.

Fertilizer: Feed lightly during spring and summer with a diluted houseplant fertilizer.

Growth Habit: This plant naturally vines and can be grown trailing from a basket or climbing on a trellis.
