Description

Hawaiian Pothos is a bold, fast-growing trailing houseplant known for its large heart-shaped green leaves splashed with bright golden-yellow variegation. Its tropical color and easy-growing habit make it a great choice for shelves, hanging baskets, plant stands, offices, bedrooms, and bright indoor spaces.

Also known as Hawaiian Golden Pothos or Epipremnum aureum ‘Hawaiian’, this plant gives you the classic low-maintenance pothos toughness with a bigger, more dramatic look. It can trail naturally from a pot or be trained to climb a moss pole, where the leaves may grow larger over time.

Care Instructions:

Light: Bright, indirect light is best for strong variegation. It can tolerate lower light, but the yellow color may become less bold.

Water: Water when the top few inches of soil feel dry. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet.

Soil: Use a well-draining houseplant mix with perlite, bark, or coco chips.

Humidity: Average household humidity is usually fine, but higher humidity can encourage stronger growth.

Fertilizer: Feed lightly during spring and summer with a diluted houseplant fertilizer.

Growth Habit: Hawaiian Pothos naturally trails and climbs. It works well in hanging baskets, shelf displays, or trained up a pole.

Pet Safety:

Hawaiian Pothos is considered toxic to cats and dogs if chewed or eaten. Keep it away from pets that like to bite plants.
